“Every orchestra needs a conductor, every rhythm selection a lead, here we have our orchestra of baton wavers and rhythmic leads… to guide our mission into the winds of success, we proudly present our Patronage, Captain and Crew”.
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Regimental Corporal Major Dennis Hutchings.
Dennis Hutchings was not only a friend but the Patron of the Military Veterans Creative Arts.
Dennis was a perfect gentleman and one of the kindest men I have ever met.
Dennis resilience to what he believed in was outstanding. Genuine, trustworthy, morally good and morally right.
Dennis is and will continue to be an inspiration to us all.
It was a pleasure and an honour to have met with Dennis on several occasions in working with him to create many beautiful songs.
My thoughts go out to all of Dennis’s family and friends.
Gone From Our Sight, But Never Our Hearts.
Rest In Peace Dennis xxxx
Dennis Hutchings – A Military Veterans Creative Arts Patron
I was born in Cramlington, Northumberland, in 1941, son of a coal miner, and then we moved to Blyth Northumberland when I was 5. I left school at 15 and became a coal miner, and at 19, I joined the army. I served for 26 years finishing as WO1.
I started my own security business and then retired in 2007. I have lived in Cornwall ever since, but now my health is not so good, and I’m currently on dialysis for the rest of my life but can’t complain as I’ve had a good life with lots of experiences.
Dennis has also worked with us to write a few songs, which can be downloaded using the link below.
